Intimidator LPR's
Hello,
I have a few questions on LPR's for the Intimidator Generations. Which generations do these LPR's work with? 2 and 2.5 only?
AKA SCM III
984-BK
984-CH

Were any 3rd party regs made for Gens 3,4,5, or 6?
Are LPR's from the same generation interchangeable? Ie. could one place a Vice LPR on a Protege?
Any input greatly appreciated. Cheers

Those will work with gen 1-4. And there are quite a few options for lprs for those generations from BLAST or other companies. You can even use the larger 2k2 lprs but generally the smaller gen 3 style lprs have better recharge rates, etc.
I believe a Vice lpr will work on a Protege but don't quote me on that.

Thanks for the response Tabris17. Is there any advantage to using a Palmer's or AKA LPR over a Gen 3 style LPR? What made the Gen 3 LPR better than the Gen 4 LPR? Thanks again.

Gen 2 is different. Gen 3 and 4 have the same internals but different externals. I believe you can get gen 5 LPR internals for earlier guns as well.
I'd be surprised if you achieved a noticeable difference with an aftermarket LPR.

I was thinking about taking the pictures I posted in that thread off my website the other day. I thought they were old and probably not used anymore.
Guess it's a good thing I didn't :-)
