ok... its not a real.. but ive styled my newest edition to my collection with a proper real steel look...
i used a simple base tippmann a5...and i ordered the ak47 kit from rap4uk....easy
Now lots of people can do this marker, as i've just used parts of the shelf, so i wanted to try and give it a look that would stand out and be a little more individual, so i decided i would try and create a real steel look to the marker, and give it a real authentic look by adding effects.
so i use a combination of black krylon paint and a dry silver brush effect to create a nice worn metallic effect
and it came out better than i could of thought.
here is a video to the editing:
i know its not to everyones tastes but i feel this really gives the marker a look it deserves. i hope people can see that you don't have to me a amazing at modifying things to create a certain look that will stand out with your markers, i made this with off the shelf parts, some 2.99 silver paint, some lacquer and about 10 mins of brushing... simple
and here is a few of my old ones ive made and styled in the the same way
hope you like
