Is someone really complaining about the rear visibility in an impreza? That's absurd... Maybe you should just learn to be a more attentive, defensive driver, because I've never thought that one single time when driving my brother's subie.

I'd hardly say complaining about rear visibility has ANYTHING to do with attentive and defensive driving. All I said was that it had poor rear visibility, which it did compared to every single other car I test drove. Regardless of great rear visibility, poor rear visibility, or even zero rear visibility, everyone should be an attentive and defensive driver.

If you keep an eye on everything around you, that 5% difference in rear visibility doesn't make nearly as dangerous a difference. My car has **** for visibility and not once have I ever had an issue with it.

Bud, I don't think you're getting what I'm saying. I never said the difference was dangerous. I said it was poor, and compared to the other cars I drove and the car I ended up getting, it was poor. Had I gone with an Impreza I still never would have had an issue with it, most likely, but that still doesn't mean the visibility is great. All I'm saying is that when it came to choosing between the Impreza and Legacy, the Impreza's rear visibility was one of the deciding factors.

the bed really isnt that big or usable. And, the hatch that opens into the cab is a very small opening as well.

You wouldnt be very satisfied with a Baja then. The rear sits up pretty high so cars have to be pretty far behind you to get a good view.

Baja Turbos have 8.4 inches of clearance. Avalanches in his price range(01-06) only have 8.6. So if the Baja's clearance sucks, then I would say so does an Avalanche's

i cant understand how someone could say the visibility is poor out of a wrx.... i had 2 in the span of 5 years and never had any problems seeing what i wanted to see.

and rear visibility in an impreza is not bad at all.

as far as the baja goes, I just think they are bad ***. I cannot get one because have to many kids, and really have no use for one.
