what division are you guys playing next year? Still D3, or making the jump to D2?

We have 3 of us returning who are ranked D2, so we are forced to move out of D3. With that being said we believe D2 and D1 are so close and D1 is less expensive that we are going to play a full season of D1 PSP for 2013.

lol really? play D1 and lose every match, or play D2 and possibly make it to Sunday? Just trying to be nice and say I think it would be in your guys best interest to play D2.

Jake, i know exactly where you are coming from with that. 2005 Riot had the same dillemma, now adays tho, you get more screwed as D1 players, and can't play anything with the appa rankings at any local/regional event....it sucks...i'm sure you could do top half at worst in d1 and it's cheaper but you end up screwed with the rankings in the long run...just something to think about. If it were up to me and i knew we'd be together for several years i'd go ahead with the D1...if you are uncertain about the future of the team and throwing together a team for each tourney now...i'd just go with D2. Just my 2 cents.

Dylan, Thanks for the support! We know we will have a tough time the first few events but that is what we have decided to do as a team. We know we have a up hill battle. I am not getting any younger and neither is Mark and if we get stuck in a division for a while I would rather be in D1 then D2. Plus with the changes happening around KPS we will be able to put a lot more quality time in on the official layouts. It will be tough though.

The core of us have been around each other for a while. Also back in 05 there was regional events to play as D2. Not so much anymore. It is difficult to find regional events at D3. Personally after playing PSP for a few seasons I cant see myself playing regional events anyway. Thanks for the input though. Also this was a team decision not my decision. We make all these type decisions as a team not as a dictator.

The rain date was in case the tryout's got rained out.

@ Jake.......hey play your game. I wish you all the best in your future. I like you guys ain't getting younger. But had my fun in Germany in Millennium Series and the others. Wish i could have made it out to your try outs again. I always ready if you need a hired gun. Good luck next year

T1 Topgun made this move two years ago and took 2nd in points last year and won World Cup and Points this year. I think it will be hard work but if you believe it can happen. Good Luck Rage.

And Topgun also picked up several pro and form pro players when they made the jump to D1... they also had several other D1 teams to scrim with on the weekends... Rage has none of those.

To the Rage Guys - D1 is no Joke and you guys didnt even podium D3 Xball this season... You may think its cheaper per event, I'd say its a waste of money.

I appreciate everyone's concern. I really do. But its just paintball. If we get rolled then thats ok. We are fully aware that this is a huge step. We know we didn't podium last year. We also know how expensive psp is. It may be a waste of money. But it is our money. I also knew people were going to think we were crazy. We get it. I have been called crazy my entire life. One or two hundred or thousand times more wont change anything. I still will put my pants on 1 leg at a time. This isn't a life changing decision. Its still 5 guys with guns. No risk no reward.
