Just except that myself and the Angus have valid points and that yours is only, "it's pussifying the sport".
While this whole discussion can be based as an opinion, we have a credible argument to back it up with.
And yes that wsa the Reggie Bush hit I was talking about. Dude got laid out.
At first I was all like trololol at the Saints because of Ninja. But now I'm getting pissed that Goodell won't release any evidence other than saying "We have a signed document by Gregg Williams" or whatever. I wouldn't mind the players somehow sticking it to Goodell.

I already admitted you and Angus got me. No more trolling needed. Well done you ****s.

Pretty much. The way its written is too broad to possibly be enforced fairly. They should only penalize the launching hits on the field. If they want to review hits more carefully later and issue fines, I'd be ok with that.

They need to do something to reverse all the handicaps they have put on defensive backs lately. There is nothing I hate more than a QB throwing a deep ball with no chance of a completion in hopes he gets a PI call. That's bush league.

Anyone see Oakland keeping it within 9 @ Atlanta on sunday? Thats by far the biggest spread of the week and I'm a little skeptical Atlanta will blow them out. Not sure why,but its getting to be that time of year.

I'm thinking atlanta wins handily, but only based on how horrible oaklands d is.

yea its around that time, but I don't think oakland is the team to do it. Their defense has been complete **** this year and palmer doesn't even try to throw the ball further than like 8 yards.

I mean, Oakland got throttled by Denver on the road, so I dont see much reason why Atlanta shouldnt be able to do the same however I dont know if I trust ATL.

Atlanta will have a strong regular season before again being completely and totally outcoached and outplayed in the playoffs.

its funny too, because going into the year I woulda have said their offense and qb would be holding them back, but really its just how pathetic their defense is. They couldn't stop michigan state's offense.
