Ive done some research on elbow and knee pads, and just cant decide on which set to buy. Ive looked into dye and empire sets, and like them both the same. any suggestions?
I was in the same boat with knee pads, coudn't decide on which ones. I read almost every review I could find for every company, and Dye got the most favourable reviews out of any.
I bought a set of Dye knees, and they're great! I'd recommend them.
The Dye ones are very nice. I personally use the Sly Pro-Merc 2012 forearm and knee pads. They do not work for everybody but for me they are the best. I have also used Planet Eclipse. I prefer the Planet Eclipse forearm pads over the Dyes but I prefer the Dye knee pads over the Planet Eclipse. The Slys work better than all of them for me. Just try to find some at a local pro shop and try them on. See what feels good to you.
thanks alot guys. Dye seems to be the most liked brand for pads. does anyone have an opinion on the empire stuff or any other reccomendations? i want to make a good decision so i dont ahve to keep buying badly made pads
LOVE my dye knee pads. Best money I have spent to date for paintball equipment.
I did not like dye's forearm pads. Waaaaay too small and uncomfortable. Not a huge fan of the newer PE pads. Haven't tried the new Empire forearm pads, but they look nice.
I own the 2012 Sly Pro-merc forearm pads and so far they seem like money well spent. Need to really test them out though. They're light, very breathable, comfortable, and the padding seems awesome.
