Ive been kinda curious about this as well.. Reffing outdoors all day sometimes with my chrome mirror flex lens.. At the end of the day my eyes feel like they've been out in the sun all day.. I.E. Irritated from the sun even though the lens is dark like my sun glasses. This makes me think they don't block any UV and if thats the case I might as well be using clear lenses as the darker color will cause MORE eye damage then a clear lens in the sun.

Also yes, I do wear the mask almost 100% of the time when I'm reffing. I'd rather just leave it on all day long as it doesn't really fog, and I need sunglasses or something tinted to walk around in the sun. My eyes are too sensitive.

Might end up getting a clear lens and throw some UV blocking car window tint on them if nobody can confirm any UV blocking properties.

According to the Proto web store all Proto switch lenses provide UV protection. Dye's I4 promotional video also says all their thermal lenses have the UV protection coating.

I'm thinking the JT lenses don't have UV protection since I've experienced that eye strain too after a long day of paintballing. I use a flex with smoke lens as my primary mask but it doesn't happen all the time.

Sly Profits also are UV protecting

Sly lenses do, not sure about all of the but the mirrored purple lense I just got had a UV protection sticker on it. I can't recall if the stock clear thermal lenses do though. Perhaps something to inquire around about.

Most tinted thermal lenses, (JT, Dye) have some UV protection.

I have JT lenses and with the mirror tint, and I feel the same thing. I worried they don't protect from UV.
