Anyone know what this is and is it needed?

I was cleaning and lubing my mini. When i noticed this little plastic piece in the air inlet for the solenoid in the air transfer gasket. I was wondering if this was actually needed and if it should be attached somewhere or if it is free floating.

i searched around but couldn't find anything about this.

here is the pic

Thanks!!!

That controls the pressure on your bolt and is very important.

That's the check valve, and yes, it's very important.

it floats freely in the inlet hole.

Make sure you put it in the right hole (pause)
