Ive been tuned in for about an hour or so. It's working perfect, no lag or interuptions here. Only gripe here is, I wish they would share the current divisional standings for lower divisions during breaks. Is it too much to ask, for a breif rundown of the current standings? c'mon man!

funny audio worked perfect for me all day but no matter how many refresh/reloads or anything it would lag/buffer like crazy, I would guess connection but I am at work and our line is decent.

Will see if it is better at home this weekend.

And if you like his comment about Lasoya in the middle what about all the dynasty crap, Ollie can do whatever he wants? several guys playing with hits they saw them look at on camera and then play on?

most of the games were good and exciting(based on audio mostly) and hope to see some more tomorrow !

I feel that there was an inadequate amount of Valken commercials during the webcast. and too much time spent on covering lower divisions.

I didn't see any lower division games or coverage. But I wasn't able to watch the whole time.

Worked well even on my terrible connection at work. Webcast looks good, but there's always room to improve.

Providing the game times, more dynamic footage that follows the pace of the game/commentary, possibly scores/standings for the divisions and maybe a table or better angle to view the commentators at.

I think that would add a lot of value to the webcast and make it more enjoyable for the viewer.

It's a start, and anytime you can get your foot in the door you're moving the right direction. It's the perfect event for it, IMHO, because after you'll have time to improve before 2013 Event 1.

Watching the Youtube stored version now. So I'll comment later after watching a decent amount (had to sleep today. Night shift).

Not really true - simply putting your foot in the door and providing a bad experience will tend to make many people not return.

The main issue is there was, as of early aftenoon, no real link that worked on the NPPL site nor were there any scores posted.

Last it really does not assist the sport to have clowns on the mic that just feel the need to swear. What sport has national web cast and allows people to come on and cuss? There is a reason that no other sports allow this - simply put image. Image or lack of it is why no real outside advertisement comes into the sport other than some off brand energy drinks from time to time.

before i say anything i will say that i have been one of those people that hated to even attempt to watch the nppl webcast in the past, and have watched the psp webcast religiously. the webcast in my opinion has been leaps and bounds better than the past nppl webcasts. yes there were technical difficulties (audio, lagging and picture quality) but i actually got to watch the event today. i will say i agree with the quoted comment to an extent but im not a crazy cuss nazi. they didnt say the f-word or anything man calm down. with all this said they still cant compete with psp's paintball access production but compared to where they were at, tons better. alot im not sure if this is a new format but have they done the race to format all season? i like it.

tldr:
pros-it actually works, commentators arent horrible (yet real), and actually works.
cons- picture quality, camera angles, and definatly their first time to actually produce a webcast they actually can start to be proud of

nppl keep up with the ACTUAL webcast production

I for one am thankful they did the webcast. Watched it from Kuwait and it worked well. It's been a long time since I've played an nppl event so watching it was nice.

I think the commentators were just ok. No need to bash players or teams. No need to show bias towards one team or another. They did keep up with the action so they did very well with that. They spoke what the cameras did not show. I also think the commentators should be midfield so they can see more of the field. The camera angles were ok but its a start. Saw zero of the dorito side action. Would be nice if they knew the actual score/time left.

I liked that there was not a huge down time between games but I think there should be a set amount of time between points. If a game takes 38 seconds the next two teams should get a little more time to get out there. Two to 3 minutes total time is all you need. Plus that would give the announcers time to do a brief recap, standings, what to expect etc. If a game goes 3 minutes or whatever then 30 seconds before game on would work as the next teams have time to clean hits etc. Teams shouldn't have to use a timeout before they even play because the prior game was so short.

The heading for the webcast needs to be fixed. The team name on the right should have their logo next to the name not on the far outside right past the nppl logo. The boxes for the team name needs to be bigger so the name fits, and team names need to be spelt correctly. Example would be XSV not XVS. Maybe the names can switch sides when the teams do?

I understand you have come a LONG way from past webcasts but these were a few things I saw. All in all keep up the good work I'll be tuning in again tonight.

Im sorry but the quality's pathetic on this. I mean i cant even tell whose who its so bad. You guys are competing with PSP. Go watch the PSP webcast quality and compare to it to your webcast. No pull the "free" card either cause the PSP one has always been free. This looks like another throw together from you guys and it shows.
