Brand new Luxe 2.0
Alright fellas I got my new 2.0 in today. Have a few questions about it. I'm at work and didn't bring any paint. 1. Is it ok to dry fire a few times. 2. My settings are bone stock, all I changed was my firing mode to psp. Should i change any settings. 3. It may be the way it is but every time I hold the power button to turn it off it says vision off then says turning off. Is it normal for the vision to turn off before powering down.

Im ahead of the game. I dropped the input pressures on my tanks and already have a full freak kit. I shot it last night and it was so pretty. I'm in love already. I love my ego's but this is a whole different ball game now.

glad to hear you like it, and just know that it will only get better and better as time goes on. Keep those settings stock, dont change those orings, and just break it in!

Thanks guys, I'm gonna play Saturday and Sunday and shoot as much paint as I can to start breaking it in. How many cases of paint before I can start tuning it. Lowering the dwell, and adjusting the manifold and stuff. My feather touch is in so I did what the factory paper told me to do and raise dwell from 14-16. Was I right by doing that.

Yeah, that's a good range for dwell.

DON'T reduce your dwell. It reduces reliability and give no performance gains.

I was just going to ask if setting dwell as high as 18ms hurts efficiency to any noticeable level.
With the FT screw in I have to have mine set to 18ms to get good velocity.

Id like to know this aswell. Whats a good dwell time, with feather touch in. The paper I got with my Luxe says raise to 16 once you install FT so I did. Should I raise anymore.

I'm curious, does your velocity spike up or down when lowered to 16ms?
If so you either need to rebuild your reg, or check some orings in your bolt assembly. (front/rear inner can, or back cap)

Brand new marker, didn't spike, just was not as constant as when the dwell was high, it would go from about +/-10 to about +/-3.

Most folks run their dwell between 14 and 16 ms. I know the Vancouver Vendetta guys run at 16 ms. I have mine set to 18 ms and it shoots great. No problems with efficiency (I can get a hopper and 7 pods off mine with a full fill and that's all the paint I carry).
