Swapping out the e-grip?

So, I have an e99 avant e-marker. I also have a Sonix 09 with the top cocking bolt. What I'd like to do is is to take the grip from the avant and hook it up to the sonix. Anyone ever swap out the e-grip before? Any compatibility issues?

The major possible issue would be the shape of the e-frame. The bodies of older spyders were typically round on the bottom and the e-grips were made accordingly. Now newer spyders have flat or half round/half flat.

The frame mounting screws may also be in different locations, but you won't know until you try, right?

I was hoping someone else had already done it and would save me the trouble of finding out it may not work.

Just unscrew the frames from your sonix and avant and compare the two. If they don't look the same, then they will not be compatible without some sort of modification.

Max amount of time it should take you is 10 minutes to remove both frames and determine if they are compatible.

The hose didn't really want to fit, so I had to swap out the hose entirely. Trigger frame matches with body. Appears to be mechanically functional. Will update on performance.
