Does anybody have any problems with their lpr pressure spiking when they gas up their gun. When I air up my quest my lpr pressure spikes from 80psi (where its set) to 100psi but after a few shots it drops back down to 80psi. Just wondering if this is normal sometimes or if my valve core might have gone bad.

Okay, the lpr also spiked to 150psi when the tank got under ~200psi, is this normal too or do i have a bum lpr spring or something.

it doesnt creep or spike up high like that otherwise?
did you mean 2000 psi?

not sure why being under 200 psi would do anything? I've had it make markers leak, having regs set too low.

I doesnt creep, but once the input pressure from the hpr gets below around 200psi the lpr spikes up to 150psi and then drops as the pressure being input drops.

So you're talking output pressure from the hpr or is it when your tank is out of air?

When my tank gets low on air and it starts outputting pressures lower than what my hpr is set to.

I've personaly never seen or noticed that happening. sounds relatively meaningless. but interesting still.
I mean how often does this happen, running so low on air?
strange things happen at low pressures lol, maybe someone else can chime in who has seen something like this.

I never really shoot my tank dry so I just noticed it recently. I just replaced the lpr spring so when I get aome air tomorrow ill test it and see what happens. Thanks for the help.
