Pinokio feed neck sanding question.

I have to back out the screw for my clamping feedneck lever almost to the last couple threads to fit my Pinokio Hopper in my feed neck. Any tighter and I can’t clamp the feedneck closed. Was thinking about sanding some of the girth of the feedneck so I can tighten the screw in more as I fear of striping out the treading with it being so close to the end of the screw.
Thoughts, comments , concerns?

Should be fine doing this. I sanded down my old Halo neck to fit my markers. I agree with your concern too. Much better to sand down the hopper neck than strip out your feedneck clamp screw.
