Because our politicians keep announcing new stuff that is added to the list of stuff to ban. If it held any weight at all, I would be panic buying too, but its a bunch of BS. The general majority of people don't see that, obviously. |

They aren't going to ban ammo....
Mags and stuff, I can see why although I think it's dumb to pay 3x the normal price for a PMAG.

True, but when your rushing to the store to buy your first AR or high cap mags, your going to pick up a few boxes of ammo in the process. Most ammo though around here isn't in short supply. Even the Walmart closest to me still has .223 stocked heavily and at normal prices.
I would imagine most of the people running to stores during all of this are newton firearm ownership. Meaning they probably have no ammo to begin with. They probably wouldn't buy a gun and not buy a few boxes of shells to go with it. Who knows

That's kinda what I'm anticipating. I'll be on the lookout for an $800 used one in MS when I go back down there in April. Reasonably sure I'll get one too.

I'm also banking on being able to buy 7.62x39 cases for less than $350 again. Or at least if I have to shell out $350 being able to get brass cased stuff.
