How are you guys working out logistics? Sponsorship, monthly dues, pay as you go? What kind of events yall playing at? AES, PSP, etc. This is the kind of info a lot of players looking to join teams would be looking at before they try out. Sponsorship is a big one, because if you got to switch over gear to accomodate a specific sponsor it can get pricey for junior players.

^^^^great questions. A lot of those questions will be answered during and immediately following the try outs. But to answer the big question, the majority of the gear a person has now will most likely be able to use with our team. The probable biggest cost as far as new gear would be a new jersey to reflect both our wonderful sponsors, and the team itself. AES is the only series now that we have confirmed for next year. As far as other series it will be determined by the team following tryouts. I also want to state we have a lot of room for growth on this team. So if your thinking about making it out to tryouts, come on down, the worst thing that could happen is you have a Great day of paintball!

I can say that there are talks about big plans for the next season and beyond. Like Seth said, gear is pretty much all up to the individual players minus jerseys for those that make the team, so show up with whatever you are comfortable using.
What I can tell you guys who are looking forward to this and trying out for the team, you can cancel out any idea of "free rides." There will be costs to play for the team, but we will do everything we can to make those costs as minimal as possible.

@papitojr - There is no "age group" we are targeting. If you want to play paintball and can commit to practices and playing events throughout the year then you are welcome to come out.
@deZert - We only practice at Fort for the time being, as they are our sponsoring field. We are open to playing at other fields if it is beneficial for the team and within budgets.
