My axe has been running great, but its been a tad inconsistent. I realized that my bolt would easily slide off the bolt guide, if I held it upside down it would just fall off. But after putting the replacement o-rings on that came in my kit the bolt seems very tight on the guide, what is the best fit for the bolt on the bolt guide? And why are the o-rings in my kit so different than the ones I already had on it?

Sorry, stock bolt.
I've been Been able to run real low pressures and I'm getting great efficiency, but I sit between 280-300 with occasional 300+ jumps

Prolly about 5 cases thru it, I'm more concerned as to what's the deal with my bolt being so loose

The newer o-rings would have NO wear on them, meaning they would be ever so slightly larger. Once you had used the old ones for a bit, they lose a few layers (While looking perfectly fine to the human eye) and would have a looser "grab" on the inside of the bolt.

Mine personally wont fall off either, I have to pull my bolt of the guide, but mine shoots 290+-4 on a 79 insert.

Doesn't seem like anything is wrong here, other than that your reg may not be fully broken in yet and is occasionally giving a spike of pressure.

Isn't worn guide o-rings a cause for slight inconsistencies?

Only if it is allowing air to escape past one it isn't supposed to. With only 5 cases through it, I wouldn't suspect the o-rings myself. Most likely your reg, or an odd sized ball among all the other balls.
