Oh I know, generally when I get nervous I forget things, so I start reading from note cards, or I will just start talking super fast. This is my first public speaking class ever and the teacher makes sure you do EVERYTHING right, as in standing straight, arms to your side, eye contact at least 95% of the time. We also have to have "visual aids" so I just got a bunch of pictures of starving africans and am going to place it as a small slide show.
The first speech I gave in this class I didn't even go off the cards after the first 30-40 seconds, but it was the easiest speech ever. We had to bring in some items that describe our lives and talk about it, not hard to just pull stuff out of your *** with a speech like that. But this one is longer, and has a lot of information, statistics, and some quotes.
So I can't just bull**** stuff. and I don't have it memorized for crap.
