More like bassgasm. Mid is weak and Treble is terrible.

I don't listen to bass heavy songs most of the time, mainly just mid and treble like older Rock. Comparatively to other headphones, Beats are weak in those two departments.

will i will admit that the ear buds and the solo ones aren't as good as i would hope the ones i got work great and i also listen to a lot of the older rock and these headphones work great for that.

Same here Sean. I got the $300 pair (full ear coverage) brand new for $100. Which is why I got them. Would never pay 300 for them. They go perfect with my type of music.
