Did my first power wheelie tonight over a hill. Not the first time I have wheelied a bike but this was the first time it actually came up and stayed up. Kind of scared me since I wasn't expecting it to come up that high. Then I laughed my *** off until I got home.

i be illin'.

wheelies are the way to go. i wish my street bike could lift the front without being in first and dumping the clutch at 10k. however, it is as easy as turning the right wrist a little further on my dirt toy.

I remember the first time I did a whoolie with the g/f on the back. She was not a happy camper.

It was more or less because there were kids in the mustang next to us and she said I did it to show off. Also whoolie machines don't count as real whoolies.

Yeah you don't need more trouble. If you really want to have a blast wheeling get a fiddy and go to a lot. Fun for hours.

Yep, to answer you question I feel that is probably a dodgy deal going on and would probably avoid it.

I found a great deal on CL the other day for an 08 zx6r with 6000 miles. He says it has a clean and clear title, but there are a few things I am concerned about. The bike was stolen from him a month ago and then recovered back to his possession. He said the ignition was messed up from the process they use to steal the bike, along with the lock that locks the handlebars in place when parked. The lock for the gas cap was also broken off.
He said he replaced the ignition and that the bike runs great, but he hasnt replaced the handlebar lock.
He says the bike runs great and starts right up but I am just a little concerned about the rest of it.
It is a killer deal which is the only reason I am not just walking away.
Any help/advice would be great.

I'd walk away from it, even if he can produce the title in his hand. I don't see how it can be a clear title if it was recovered though. Typically that would change it.

A zx6r is not a beginner bike. Terrible choice to start out on and I'd be very suspicious of the "stolen and recovered" story.

Alright, he has the receipt from the dealer that he bought it from in March of 2012 if that makes any difference.

A little reassuring but still, why would you want to inherit someone else's problems?
