crazy that i randomly stumbled onto this today after not being on here in years! I think that even if you hated each other on the field, if we ran into each other now it would be completely different just because we all played at a time when paintball was at its peak. You took bonus balls to the back and you liked it...if you turned around they were just gonna come at your face and more of them! I can still hear Ken yelling "BB's"! Haha..12.5 bps.....I remember 20+ and everyone was still trying to get faster. i havent been to a cfoa in years. may take my kids to one this season, but from the sounds of it I may be depressed with the action.

It was like a rule..if someone walked off pointing or staring...you had to shoot them a little more to correct this bad behavior...Now they catch a couple extra and they cry to the ref...

We got in trouble last year.... We would put out paintboxes by the pits for barrel bags. The refs realized we were putting the boxes in certain places so we could shoot up the players trying to get the bag on in hope they would just go in the pit and get a major.

some of the best times i ever had was being on the road with circus runaways.the one thing i knew that every time i was taking photos of them i would get shot at least once by each of them.the paintball of today is like flag football compared to what was being played back in the day.i remember seeing people getting 20+ on them and just taking it then giving it back when they got the chance.

Of course, 20 balls back then was three-four trigger pulls. Still though, I know what you're saying. People care complaining about two extra while they're walking through lanes on the back line. I figure if they don't want to get hit, run... Or run anyways and you might be able to draw fire from a team mate for a moment and give them an easier bump up field... Don't see much of that stuff anymore... :/

i thought the rule was just shoot anything that moved once the ref said go(including walker and scuba) and dont stop till they're in the box

I tried to relive some old moments Sunday at Rock Hill and was promptly asked by a player "If I had any ****ing more....." I went to reach for another pod and had to remind myself that the old days were dead and gone and that my card would be pulled if I did it. I miss the old Am division. Learned my lesson from Dan, T.J., Ken, Cotton, and the rest of the crew from Running Wild, Gang Related, XSF, all the old school teams taught me respect.....I think it's about time to bring that back to the sport!
