Dirty South Open - D3 Teams, or Lack Thereof

Come on guys!

Hate Squad is signed up. We need 3 more teams to commit for this to happen.

Can anyone confirm if they know of any teams that will be playing D3 (For Sure) this event?

We would really like to play, but if we can't field the teams, maybe Brian will allow us to drop down and play D4!?

I did not mean my post derogatory to you specifically, it was a blanket statement. I apologize if it came off wrong. That was not my intent to you. Sorry.

Some complain that D3 players are sandbagging in D4. Some complain D4 players are sandbagging in D5. Some complain that D3 has too many players higher than D3.

The nuts and bolts of it is, I just want to be able to field at least 4 teams every event so my team has an opportunity to compete. Without enough teams, my team is left with two choices.

1. Not get to play at all or 2. Find a league/leagues where they consistently field enough teams to support a D3/Open division.

My first choice is to play here, in the CFOA, as I always have. We do not have the time or money to afford the PSP, so I would be stuck playing miscellaneous series whereever we can find them.

Well, there has to be 4 teams for the division to happen so at least you would have a 25% chance of winning or a 66% chance of placing "in the money".

I think it's also a bad weekend being memorial day. Doesn't have anything to do with D3 but we won't be playing b/c we have a few people spending vacation time with their families. I'd willing to bet quite a few players from all div are the same way. Like you said tho excuses are like a*******, everybody has one lol

Yes!!! Make it "Open" if you need to.

We always want to play the best our area has to offer, we just can't play them on a national level.

If that generates 1-2 more teams, then it will be worth it to my team.

If its open and doesn't effect your rank whatsoever regardless of how you finish ( like Xball use to be) I would play it all day long. Its not that I don't wanna rank up I just don't wanna rank out

That's what I am afraid of. One of the Absolute Chaos teams played D3 last year and now they are all D2 because they won the series and cannot play together in D3.

We would love to see them return.

Plus, I would like to continue playing CFOA with my current team members as long as they want to play together.

My vote is to make it "Open" with no repercussions in regards to rank. This may give some lower ranked teams incentive to "test their meddle" before being forced to bump up.

I don't know. I just want to play.
