Someone should slam your head in a cardoor to get rid of the smug.

I can guarantee you, this is not the first time someone thought of this idea. It wont be allowed.

Also, the chill bumps thing reminded me.

Where you are located, have you ever seen people people peanuts in their cokes? Or your "pop" if you love cocks in your ***.

I don't really like the whole supporting militarism thing, but that's just me. As a society, America is way too into the military.

You also are a lotus eater who contributes nothing but debt and the proliferation of bad taste in clothes. You also go to other countries on what are essentially vacations and refuse to learn the language proper or try to fit in like the typical arrogant American who gives us a bad name abroad. Good day sir. Also, "whilst."

Peanuts? wat?

Also, if you call all forms of pop/soda "cokes''... then you're an idiot.

Personally I say pop because it's a regional thing. No one says soda around here, but I can guarantee you that I've never seen ANYONE put peanuts in their beverage.

"Supporting the troops" is essentially thanking them for mostly killing civilians, since most Afghan/Iraqi fatalities are civilians. People need to stop joining the military. It shouldn't be a career option like it is now. Eisenhower warned against that.

I like to think he did it for them...to surprise them and basically say thank you in a huge public way.

Its such a John Kerry move. Hey everyone, look, I'm in the military. Everyone come honor me. Its made far worse by the fact that apparently he sits behind a desk. I'm not one to every belittle someone in the military, or someone who sits behind a desk, but you can't be having a huge public thank you for yourself when you didn't even do anything. You have guys that are on the ground and legitimately putting their life on the line in combat, those guys never seem to look for any big congratulations. They are the ones who say "the real heroes are the ones who didn't come home." Not saying everyone has to say that, but someone who throws a celebration for himself and wasn't even in combat, at a time when there are being actually in combat...its bad taste all over.

I have heard of the peanuts in coke thing. Never SEEN anyone do it. My wife said she used to do it when she was a kid.

He's specifically referring to COCA COLA SOFT DRINKS

Apparently, you missed the part where I said the thank you was for his family, not him.
