how many of you play outlaw ball?

Do any of you play outlaw ball? Meaning that you play on your own property or somewhere outside of an actual paintball place. i play outlaw ball on my property all the time and its great. I dont have to deal with wipers, bonus ballers, and i dont have to pay for admission! haha all i have to do is get my tank filled, buy a cheap case of paint, call up some friends and family and have fun! its 10x better then going to a paintball place.

Out of all the paintball I've played, I'd have to say that 80-90% of it has been "outlaw" ball. It isn't always the best, but it can be significantly more fun than playing at a field.

The hardest part for me has been trying to get enough people together to have a good, fun day of paintball. Since this problem has worsened over the past few years, I've taken to playing at one of the two fields within driving distance. If I could get enough people together, I'd play "outlaw" at least once a month.

I play both. Mainly on a field, but my first 3 years of paintball were outlaw.

Been a while. Started playing in an abandoned factory. Then at a commercial field. Played at a friends house a few times since then but never been as awesome as that factory.

that sounds sick, i would love to play in any abandoned building. There are some abandoned buildings by my house but they are fenced off and its illegal to trespass. people do acutally play paintball there though. I would but i dont wna get busted by the cops :/

Well it had bad qualities as well. It was abandoned sometime after Hurricane Katrina. Equipment was moved but not the left overs. Like pits filled with a strange colored liquids I was told were muratic acid and other stripping agents. Or something. Also. Lots of trash and insulation everywhere.

Oh. And no wildlife. Like . . . none. Not even insects when we set up bunkers outside. That was probably the most disturbing aspect of it. What the **** was going on there that even insects don't move back in years later?

We eventually ended up expanding out a bit. There was an administrative building we found that was gonna be ****ing hella awesome to battle in. Over two dozen rooms some connected by holes smashed in the walls to move between rooms. Desks everywhere. There was a way up to the second level where you could actually shoot down into the first floor from holes in the ceiling at certain locations. And best of all. Cubicles. Not those wimpy plastic and cardboard ones. Steel and wood. Lots of them.

And there was at worst 10 of us playing on any given day and over 20 when we could pull in friends and family.

We started cleaning up the building. Sadly, we got kicked out before ever playing in it.

yea, running out of air meant no more paintball for the day! I guess thats an advantage to playing at an established field. all day air fills!

Unless you're crazy enough to use a blowgun or a slingshot...(guilty)

That always led to getting the Technicolor treatment, but it sure was fun.

That immediately reminds me/brings back nightmares of this game:

A scuba tank is like what, $5 to fill? I can play about 4 days if no one else asks to fill their tank [2 cases of paint]. My tank is a 45/45 so it doesn't take much air, but when someone with 68 or a 88 uses it, he lowers the pressure about 500 psi the next fill. I bought a small scuba tank because I used to live on the third floor.
