I've already had 3 different presentations for 3 classes, 3 finals too for each. Had one critique for photo, and another on Thursday by industry folks. Had my Lower division retrospect test, a gallery showing, and I have 2 more finals this week.
Yes, that paragraph was all over the place.

my last semester of school we were supposed to have a final, huge portfolio review thats supposed to be the most nerve-racking thing for an ad student.
day of, my teacher never showed, my portfolio got reviewed by like 2 people who weren't professors, and i went home. teacher graded the class based on classwork.
got an A. (would've gotten one anyways, but still.)

Yeah, This is our lower division retrospect stuff. Test and Portfolio to decide if we move on. Plus, most classes, to get into, you have to present a portfolio with work that applies to the class.
I'm a bit upset my sports class won't be shooting NHL games until the lockout ends. Waited 2 years for it, and the lockout happens. At least we have Laker and Clipper games.

im starting to lean towards more marketing oriented jobs in my professional life.

meh. happy with it considering i shot this against my wall with a speedlite bounced off the wall. other than that, i need a lot of practice with stuff like this.

Think it just needs a specular highlight or two (mirrors, foil on a fill card, etc) and some fill on this side (fill card using the bounced light).
More lights help though, those are just things to do with just speed light bouncing  |

I liked operations mgt. Creative course but thought it was funny people majoring in something like that without having the experience of actually doing it. Good stuff though, learned a lot.

I agree with the roofline being lost, the window, and the background.. Those were my 3 gripes, but couldn't be changed after the sun went down. Is there anything I should do differently to process a car photo? I've never really done car photography before. |
