Losing our freedom are you kifding me

Ok so correct me if I am wrong but since when was liosing or freedom a great thing. Please tell me where supporting the destruction of our country and freedom a great thing. For all who stays to read a section of the obamacare bill just passed states that by march 23 of next year the government is requiring all us citizens to plant a rfid chip into their body. The chip will send information from your body to the pentagon amd will also be connected to your bank account. What else are we going to let take place before we realize what is going on in our country.

RFID? Implant? Before casting aspirsions to the validity of that being in the bill, the security risks from RFID alone should prevent their use is much of anything.

People do not value freedom as a principle. They merely value being given they ability to do whatever it is they want to do. This is projected upon society through people wanting other people to do what they want other people to do.

There are enough problems with PPACA as it is.
You don't have to rely on dumb conspiracy theories written by people who can't read legislation.

http://www.snopes.com/politics/medical/microchip.asp

Quote:
The Secretary shall establish a national medical device registry (in this subsection referred to as the 'registry') to facilitate analysis of postmarket safety and outcomes data on each device that:

(A) is or has been used in or on a patient; ; (i) a class III device;
or (ii) a class II device that is implantable, life-supporting, or life-sustaining.

A "class II device that is implantable?"

Then on page 1,004 it describes what the term "data" means in paragraph 1,section B:"(B) Inthis paragraph, the term 'data' refers to in formation respecting a device described in paragraph (1), including claims data, patient survey data, standardized analytic files that allow for the pooling and analysis of data from disparate data environments, electronic health records, and any other data deemed appropriate by the Secretary."

Approved by the FDA, a class II implantable device is a "implantable radiofrequency transponder system for patient identification and health information."
Quote:
First off, the referenced information was not part of the "Obamacare" health care legislation actually enacted by Congress. The page numbers and language cited in the example above were taken from HR 3200,an early House version of health care reform legislation which was never passed by Congress. Passages cited from are therefore irrelevant as that bill was never signed into law, and the cited wording did not appear in the replacement bill http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/BILLS-1...1hr3590enr.pdf eventually passed as the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
Quote:
Second, nothing in any of those unpassed bills mandated that anyone be implanted with any type of microchip or device, for any reason. The passages quoted above reference a section of the legislation that simply called for the creation of a registry which would allow the Department of Health and Human Services to collect data about medical devices "used in or on a patient" (including devices which patients consent to have implanted in them during surgery, such as pacemakers) for purposes that include tracking the effectiveness of such devices and facilitating the distribution of manufacturer recall notices. Absolutely nothing in those bills required that patients receive any type of implantable device (microchip or otherwise) or authorized the government to mandate the implantation of devices in patients.

In no way am i saying this is a fact i am merely wondering how if it is true one would support such a thing. I mean this nation is bad enough the way it is but to take our jobs and money is one thing but to take our freedom is another.

If it makes you feel any better, it's not true.
The "RFID chip" theory was started because someone misread, possibly intentionally, a section of the House version of the bill that didn't even make it into law.

...not that PPACA is a good program, but this particular concern isn't a valid one.

The full text of the PPACA is available from multiple sources. Was it too much trouble to look it up yourself?

“One of the biggest problems with the world today is that we have large groups of people who will accept whatever they hear on the grapevine, just because it suits their worldview—not because it is actually true or because they have evidence to support it. The really striking thing is that it would not take much effort to establish validity in most of these cases… but people prefer reassurance to research.”

How do you know it wouldn't happen? If you were alive before WW2 I bet you would have thought the holocaust would never happen.
