you cut it the short way. pretty much the same way empire did on the underside of the quick feed when they did the V2 quick feed for the prophecy.

I got my virtue spire at my local pro shop..I used it on my etha playing the speedball field full time and I would reccomend this item to anyone that wants to buy a high end hopper.

Got mine today. So glad I held onto my VLocity for a little bit longer, instead of buying a Dye Rotor.

Absolutely stellar product, I would highly recommend this to anyone. It loads reballs, and paintballs with absolutely no stoppages/jams, giving me a completely consistent 11.5 bps through my Alias Intimidator(with re-balls.)

Did you go flush by trimming the spacers out?

im not sure which spacers you are talking about, but i did cut the small plastic pieces that lie under the top part of the speed feed.

it doesnt exactly sit flush. but ill take it over the stock crown.

used my spire for a tournement. loved it. no jams breaks or hickups. cleans up on seconds and battery install takes seconds.

i like the speedeed but i wish i could open it like a prophecy for when loading in the pits with a caddy.

feeds fast, looks good.

It was hard for me to open the speed feed lid at first too. It's easier if I try opening it from the side rather than the bottom which latches on pretty tight. Give that a try.

My spire jammed on me!! But only because I used the worst ****tiest leftover paint I could find. Slimey, overexpanded, out of shape, soft.

Actually the spire didn't jam. What happened was the ball had expanded so much and was soft that it got stuck in the feed neck of the hopper and it stopped loading. Other than that all the other ****ty paint went through no problem. Some chops but the hopper motor didn't jam once.

Cleaning the inside of the loader wasn't a problem, done in less than 60 seconds.

So far so good.

Why on earth would...you even try to use those? I have like 2 year old inertia that is still in the bags and dimpled to hell that isn't even that bad Lol

Granted for the sake of testing I understand that, but good lord lol.

you must have done this just to see if the spire could jam. which i guess is cool but id never actually shoot the **** into my gun lmao. why did you actually go through with this? this is like picking up 2 day old paint off of the ground on a psp tournament after a rain out lol

I did it to see how bad the paint had to be to get a jam. Because it says "never jams" on the box and I wanted to see if it was true lol. It pretty much is.

great loader. The new style speedfeed is legitimately the best available. The one with the wider fingers and springs.

  1. No Upping threads. If you have something to say, please do, but don't post in the thread just to take it to the top of the forum.
  2. Do not post "1st post", "1st", "First post" or anything similar (or with any other number) at any point in a thread, even if you post a comment too. It is really annoying and it will result in a ban.
