Fantasy Football guys---- Where do you stand on this?
Ok, so I need everyone's oppinion on something that is going on in a fantasy league im in. Here's the scenario: In the league that I'm playing in we've made it through the first 2 weeks, and then today during the afternoon games someone points out an error in the scoring settings. The way it's set up is supposed to be Qb's get 0.5 points deducted per incomplete pass. Today it was just discovered that throughout the season qb's have been getting +.5 points per every incompletion. So one of the commisioners makes the change. But this is where it gets interesting; with the changes applied throughout the whole season (including week 1 and 2 which have been played out already) 2 teams now have changed records, one team went from 1-1 to 2-0, and another team went from 2-0 to 1-1.
So what I'm asking is- when a change is made like this, is it fair to apply it to the previous 2 weeks that have been played out already- or can you only make a change like this going forward, and the previous weeks are left as is?

With something like this, yes it's fair. Giving QB's points for incompletions is ****ing stupid and shouldn't be the reason somebody won their game.

Im asking this seeking unbiased oppinions because this is a money league and its causing some turmoil in the league right now. To be honest, my team is the team that is going from 2-0 to 1-1 with this adjustment to the previous 2 weeks. Of course I am a little pissed, even though I understand why the change is made, my argument is that yea I should of lost one of the games, but I go from being 2-0 to 1-1 and with that change it completely removes the waiver wire factor. Being that the waiver wire standings each week reflect the standings in the league I couldn't snatch the top waiver picks after week 2 when I was 2-0, then now today when it was changed I go from 2-0 to 1-1 and just get screwed, not even getting a chance to get any waiver wire pickups if anyone knows what i mean.

ya it blows for you but thats how the league was supposed to be set up in the first place. and seriously if you lost because of some incompletions then you shouldnt of won anyway.
negative points for incompletions is pretty stupid anyway

1. It was a scoring system agreed upon the beginning of the league.
2. It was not properly being applied to the first two games.
3. The scoring being corrected for those two games causing people to lose or win games is no big deal, since they would have lost/won those games from the beginning had the scoring been correct when the season started.

Why would you agree to those silly rules? Sounds like your friends are trolling you and taking your money.
