I really love these:

-Hybrid (Blunt and Joint)
-Bloodline (absolute favorite)
-FEP (Albeit, it's a tension and not ball bearing one, but it's thick and not as hideous as something like a CP.)
-Bob Long's mini drop/rail thing. I love that one quite a bit. They're like a nicer cut version of the Smart Parts one.

My favorite was the old Angel one since I'm a fan of center exit on/off. Never used one of the bloodlines, heard there were oring problems, but they were cool looking.

My absolute favorite ever on/off, while not a dovetail mount, is the Bob Long Gear Drive.

No Orings on the Bloodline rail.

Think of it as a Hybrid rail that's thinner and longer out. Like on my Cobra.

edit: oh ****, you meant ASA, not RAIL.

These are my siggestions:

If on a budget:

NewDesignz Inline On/Off

Warrior B1 Inline On/Off

Angel's Original A1 On/Off

Bob Long Camdrive

If you have some money and really want something good:

Planet Eclipse POPS

MacDev Venting On/Off

Just google any one of those ASA and your bound to find them.

May even check BST as there might be some in there as well.

in all honestly most aftermarket regs arent any better performance wise than the stock reg.

also CP and bob long asa's are the way to go imo. bobs are a little nicer but also a little more expensive.

THIS!

If your reg isn't absolutely DESTROYED, keep it. If you HAVE to get a new reg, I really like bob long's Torpedo regs. I'm not much of a loyalist, but I appreciate good engineering. The schrader-valve regs are super easy to maintain, ungodly reliable, and you can align them any way you want because of the locking collar.

My reg was leaking air, I have replaced the orings, but I don't like the hyper 2 design with the swivel, due to whenever I switch hands I always hit the fitting, it's just aggravating to me

That's why I prefer the torpedo style; you can LOCK the collar in place so the fitting is always in the center by the trigger guard. And you can even leave the reg in place; unscrew the bottom half and the piston comes right out. Super easy maintenance.

All regs perform about the same these days, so I tell people to get the one that's easiest to work on, and basically fool-proof.

I'd tell you to get an SL3 reg, but they're $80, and really hard to find used.

Bob long cam drive
CP is what I consider to be the "standard to beat"
Eclipse OOOps is great for the price (34.00 rail and asa)
I like Shocktech products, never had a problem with them ever.

And the Dangerous power Lever works fantastic as well.

on a budget the CP direct mount is a good one, will never let you down.

I've always felt that the POPS was super bulky...everyone at my field looks at me like I'm crazy after I switched out to the OOPS ASA on my 2.1. I just wish they were OTF instead of OTS.
