Changing positions?

I found a reg on my paintball field that was tossed aside. Becing curious as I am, I took it apart, and wondered if it was possible to simply move the fill nozzle where the micro gauge was, or where a burst disk is.

Has anyone tried this?

You can't move the fill nipple with the burst disk. Different threading.

Same threading between the fill nipple and gauge, but a more effective way to move things would be to place them where they were originally, and use Ninja Clips. I am not sure if there is a problem with putting the fill nipple where the gauge goes, and vice versa, but why chance it if you don't have to?

If it was tossed aside I would think there would be a reason for it.
But as Truth said, burst discs have different threading. Also, you never ever want to remove a burst disc period unless it blows. Burst discs need to stay in their one specific port. It's a major safety feature and even swapping the LP and HP bursts discs by passes a huge safety measure; making the tank potentially dangerous to fill.
As far as the nipple and gauge, contact the manufacturer and do what they recommend. Sometimes they do not want you to remove anything and always go by what they say. If they say you can swap the nipple and gauge, then go ahead.
