led angel help
I know this isn't the gun fourm but I need to find someone in Arkansas that is good with 200-2001 led angels. The gun needed a new battery put one in and the charger light turns green like it is charging, but the gun will not turn on. If someone is close to conway I wouldn't mind driving so you could look at it.

Let it charge w/ the swith facing backwards as someone might have turned it around. Or worst case the solenoid is bad, http://www.ebay.com/itm/Angel-LED-Re...em45ffaa a0de and that's the only way to get the solenoid.

any lights coming on?
solenoid has nothing to do with it if the lights arent coming on. That could be a bad board.
Check ALL the connection/ribbons/ wires and make sure they are all intact and not clamped, or frayed
NOW IF THE LIGHTS ARE ON*******
AND THE GUN DOES NOT CYCLE, THEN ITS THE NOID, OR LPR

the lights came on with the old battery the little green one. then we changed the battery and we did it wrong. i left it charging all thro the night and the light on the charger was still red. then we redid the battery and now the light will turn green on the charger but when i go to turn on the gun nothing at all. no clicks no lights nothing. so i think the battery is ok since it seems to be charging. the wires on the gun do seem pretty old lik they could be replaced. but it looked liek the noid set had everything already done.

I think you fried the board man, since the battery was put in wrong.
Those guns were older and didn't have a REVERSE POLARITY DIODE installed, which basically doesn't let the battery charge if the battery is reversed. But by you putting it on the charger all night in reverse, if fried the board.
Kinda like putting the wrong terminals on a car battery.
check around the nation for a new board.

Makes sense. Do they not make boards for them anymore? ANd if so or not would it be easier to get a board for 9v batteries?

Look around the nation you can take a stock pm7 or Pmd board from the non ul frame and make it work in most old led angels several guys have done so to make their guns PSP legal. Dr Strangelove is the person to talk to on most of this. Hope this helps. It also gives you a 9v conversion.
