Break it in first.
EDIT for clarification: Seriously, don't change a thing on your marker untill you have AT LEAST 3-5 cases through it with the engine installed. Once that is done, the you can think about dropping the dwell.

well i cut the dwell from 12 to 10.. the tech t site said 9-11 to i did middle lol but obviously breaking it in would eventually happen right?

You'll get more consistent results if you keep the dwell high during the break in period

Put it back to 12. Once you break it in, THEN you can drop it down and find a good sweet spot setting.

Into the..... feedneck  .......no  . Into the breach......yes. A little bit. Maybe a 1/16th of an inch (maybe a tiny bit more?). It helps prevent rollbacks.
However, it should not be sticking into the breach to where it is preventing balls from dropping into place.
