Air efficientcy?

So my axe will go through a 4000 fill pretty quick. What settings can I adjust to make it more efficient?

There are some tuning guides in the stickies. It's all in there. Tune the dwell, PSI, and back cap, and you can even run a stock axe as low as 140psi (did it last week-end) and very efficient. There are also some threads on poppit polishing. I haven't done this, but if you want to go nuts, this will make the marker even more efficient.

What about non-stock axes?

Whether or not your Axe is stock, you go through essentially the same process to tune. It's all in the stickies;

On a hot 4500 fill I get a hopper and 8 pods off my 68/45. Stock bolt, pressure at 200psi and shooting 290.

I would reset your board to default. Take out your poppit relube it, then screw your backcap all the way in GENTLY, then back it out one and a half times. That gets me about 285-292 fps around there.

The same steps for tuning really apply to an Axe no matter what parts are installed...the only change is that you will possibly be able to lower dwell, input pressure, etc...

With my .680 UL, polished poppit/stock bolt, tuned out 1.5 turns and my reg down to abut 175 I basically have to refill once every 2 games. I'll usually shoot a rotor and 3-4 pods a game

I would really recomend a 680 barrel and a polishing your poppit (it's very easy)

i run my axe at 140 psi, ~1.5 turns on the back cap, 3 dwell, boss bolt short spring shooting about 285-290 with a .682 freak. off a little over 4k fill i was able to get 7 pods and a hopper with ease with still about 1k on the tank. it has about 15 cases through it. some settings you might wanna try.
