Need to make a cheap all white background

I'm no professional photographer but I need a way to make an all white background that will last a while. Someone told me to get a piece of plywood and cover it with plasti-dip (which I've never heard of)... is that a good choice?

I need something that is made of a material that won't stain as well. I am trying to capture motion (specifically, a balloon filled with food coloring popping). I've done the shot screwing around more than once but it looks poopy without a solid background.

Keep it far enough away from your subject and it shouldn't be a problem

Whenever I need one, I just tack up a white bed sheet. If you're using a flash, it works well enough.
