Need some thoughts from people who know guns
I'm looking to buy a DM10, Empire Axe, or Geo 2 or 2.1. I'm looking for a gun that's very consistent at the chrono, easy to maintain, and has high reliability. Give me some thoughts. Thanks

I'd take the DM10.
Geo's simply IMO are not smooth enough, too loud, and not efficienct enough for their price. The Axe is a nice marker for the price, but the DM10 is a great marker (although still overpriced for it's feature-set IMO).

While I agree, the points that are important to the op are reliability, ease of maintenance, and consistency. Those categories definetley fall to the clone or axe (well save reliability because thats really dependent on your maintenance). While the dm10 is the better gun, it is not what he is looking for.

The Axe is very reliable. The only major surgery required is to clean the eyes....but it barely will ever break a ball, so you'll barely have to do it ever. Otherwise bolt comes out the back, clean & re-lube, and you're good to go.
Come into the Axe forum if you have questions.

Best bang for your buck? the Axe. Ive shot the Dms, and the Geos and yet somehow ive only kept the Axe out of them. Player > Gun.

Answering your exact question....
Of the 3 markers listed the Geo 2/2.1 wins. It's the most reliable, has the easiest (and least required) maintenance and is very consistent over chrono.
No it's not the quietest, smoothest or most efficient BUT that wasn't his question.

Any of those would be good choices. Get a 2 instead of a 2.1 to save a few bucks if you decide to go that route. Of the choices listed I would get a Geo2 simply because it shoots good, very easy to maintain and has high reliability as you listed as requirements.
The DM10 is not easy to maintain, at least IMO compared to others listed. The Empire Axe is easy to maintain and shoots great but IMO isn't built as solid as a Geo2 or DM10. Only plus on the Axe is that it's cheaper.
Geo2 > Axe > DM10

You'll get consistency out of all of them if they're tuned properly.
As far as "easy to maintain", the Axe is a poppet valve, thus is will have less o-rings than others, as they're all spools. If you're looking for a "stupid proof" gun, perhaps take a look at the Ego line. But out of the 4 you listed, I like a Geo, however based on your criteria the Axe may fit a little better.

You realize a Geo2 drivetrain actually has less orings than an Axe right?

As far as your preferences go "very consistent at the chrono, easy to maintain, and has high reliability". The Axe fits the bill. It can take one hell of a beating. Good consistency...not fantastic, and really easy maintenance.
That said. I would still pick the DM10. Geos are very overpriced. Horrible efficiency and not smooth at all. The DM is a solid platform and is a very smooth shooter. Probably be the best at the chrono. It will take a little more maintenance and care but it would be worth it.
