ha. no.

Stick with the G6R you will not be disappointed with the CS or performance of your marker. The G6R is not only efficient but the smoothest poppit out there.

But thx for the hints guys, I'll also be looking in the BST section of this forum. There's some good deal listed.
You're on the right track. Scan through the BST for a Like new condition 2011 g6r. Chances are you can find one anywhere from $550-700 depending upon the upgrades it has or pressure tester. Speaking of which, save yourself alot of hassle and buy a pressure tester, dow 55, and tri flo.

If you are gonna get a G6R, getting a pressure tester, dow55, triflo and some tools is a requirement. Honestly for a first high end, I think you are going to have a learning curve. If your ok with that, I say go for it.

Keep in mind if and when you get the G6R it won't come with any tools or lube or even a manual.

WTF, really ? Is BL hurting that bad that they can't put in some basic necessities when you buy a new gun.

That has been their M.O. for a while now I believe. You pay for the marker and barrel. Everything else is up to you to get

It helps keep cost of the marker down.

Add in a fancy unneed case, tools(which you should already have) oil/lube then your looking at the pricing being around what PE sales their's for.
Or just sale the marker and keep cost to the player's down.

I will agree that a case isn't absolutely necessary. But for the other parts I completely disagree. I'm not taking ANYTHING away from the G6R as a marker, just to be clear, but I think it's a horrible idea not to offer tools, spare parts, lube and a manual. At $1000 I should be supplied everything I need to keep this gun working (aside from major parts that is). Just my opinion.

I agree for the most part, with the exception of the pressure tester. It is not absolutely necessary for every owner, but IMO every owner should have access to one. Nearly all G6R problems I've encountered were due to nasty pressure settings.

It does come with a few spares, but very few.

I was under the impression that it came with only spare o-rings. Am I mistaken?
I meant spares like a new set of eyes, screws, detents, etc

yup,

Also some of the used g6r on this forum come with spare part and pressure tester included. This should save me a few buck. As for the bag/case, tools, spare parts.... I got a few left and should be fine for a couple of maintenance.

I'm pretty sure I'll buy a used gun. So I don't spend all my money on a new gun. I need to buy a good tank ( carbon if possible ) I want my gun to be the lightest as possible. This is a must after using a damn heavy gun for years.

However, I'll need help to buy a used gun here. Can you link me a nice helping post about buying here. I need the gun shipped to Montreal Canada and this might be a "no-go" for most of the seller.

I'm using paypal but I don't wanna get screwed. So any help/tips/hints would be appreciated.

Thanks

I got my G6R for 880 off ansgear once they had it on sale.
Awesome gun! Highly recommend.

When I got the gun and with my LP Reg on the tank it gave me 230fps... Different type of tank then was used by Blast perhaps during tuning but I had to buy the pressure tester for it to make sure I get max efficiency and proper FPS.

there are no differences besides the OLED board. I usually don't keep a gun for more than a month , I've had my G6R for almost a year... It has NEVER had a problem. And u don't need an entirely new tank, just buy a 50 dollar reg. I have the ninja pro with the spacers removed... that way if you get a new gun, you just put the spacers back in. And as far as those recommending the clone GT and what not, they are not that great, I've had two friends who had them and guess what they shoot now ... you guessed it .. G6Rs ... i would highly recommend the G6r, mine has the tech t bolt, ping less ram, and LP poppet, super quiet, shoots a case off of a 70/4500, and has zero kick

You can actually just get a standard ninja reg for about $35. Take the shims out and your golden. To use other markers you don't need to put shims back in. All guns can run on 450 psi (that's what a ninja reg is set to LP).
