OK so it's a ****ty cellphone pic edited in Snapseed. I really just wanted a place to ask a quick question:

Canon 17-40 f/4 or 17-55 2.8... Gonna shoot it on my T3i.

PS.. damn.. been a long time since I been in here..

Crane, nice to see you post again

Personally, I'd go with the 17-40. You get the L glass, weather sealing and the ability to use it on full frame cameras.

Word. It's nice to see so many familiar names still hangin' around here. I was leaning 17-40. The L sold me and I will be shooting outside in good light 90% of the time.

Maybe I will stop by more often.. Although my new job is not super conducive to shooting all that much any more.

D'aww.

How long have you been away, Crane? Two days ago was the first time in five years I've poked my head back in here.

Been away from ST: P for easily 3-4 years. I hang out over in ST:Military now mostly. But I am pretty much over on Reddit now. I think I may post a little bit more here, though. I am in a job where I don;t get to shoot much and I will be looking for inspiration to get out and find more stuff.. Maybe I can put together some info about PJ stuff for this sub.
