etha stutter and wiring problem

Was shooting my gun yesterday and it would fire, fire, psst, fire, fire ... that kInd of thing,

Took itapart lubed the whole bolt inserts mechanisms and noticed my bolt tip was being chewed up and the spring was taking it halfway off, replaced my tip thinking maybe it was that and it would still do the psst.. as if the gun is venting out of the bolt, so I went to remove the body from the frame to check on the pneumatics but when I opened my grip frame , low and behold the white wire connected to my trigger switch just fell out while adjusting The wires..... now I can't get it to stay in place ...

I have yet to crono the gun but it sounds and looks like it's shooting really low even with the regulator set to 3 turns in from max, the gun shoots with the wire lose and the grip in place but I did have to smack it one to get the wire to make contact with the connection once

I'm not sure about the wiring issue, but the firing issue sounds like the poppet spring. Take apart the bolt assembly and check the spring at the back of the poppet.

Did and the spring was fine, even put the new spring in and same thing
Went and cronod my gun, lubing and putting a new tip on the bolt seems to have stopped the purging for now but my regulator screw is set to about 1and 1/2 turns in and shooting 275 is that normal

When you mention lubing your bolt; are you aware that the bolt, external surface of the bolt guide and the bolt bumper should all be run dry to alleviate the chance of bolt stick occuring?

Yes sir there is no lube on the bolt/ bumper or guide themselves, just the internals .
I thought maybe it was that so I gave the bolt a good rub down just incase it was sticking back, and lubed the the first small oring on The poppit just incase it was causing it to stick forward, still did it after those 2 steps.

After lubing all the internal orings plus the hpr it seems to have taken care of it, just seems that I have my hpr set dangerously high just to get 275 fps out of it ,
It's almost flush with the bottom of the regulator, and then I have that lose wire issue

Okay, out of interest what air system are you running on your Etha? Ideally you should have a minimum output pressure of 550psi, so if you're on a low pressure this would explain why you're having to crank your inline regulator so high.

Regarding the wire issues; ensure that your marker is registered via:
https://warranty.planeteclipse.com

Once you have done this simply contact Gerry Bates in our Rhode Island Service Department on either (401) 2479061 or gerry.b@planeteclipse.com and he'll get you sorted.

2 adjustable ninja 4500 tanks both with full shims in so I would say about 800 psi
