Cut the budget
But don't be surprised when we are useless and our airplanes fall out of the sky in pieces or our helos can't rescue anybody including citizens

yea...don't think Crane is referring to that dude...I don't think you realize how much waste there is in the Defense Department. I'm 99% sure that's what he is talking about, not essential military equipment, IE; your aircraft....

An audit(if done properly) would most likely decrease the budget. I agree about civilians and such, being medical we waste so much on worthless civilians. It's a bit crazy honestly. There are so many thing the military doesn't need, but because we have the extra money in our budget lets go on a spending spreee!!! YAY!

if we could fix how the end of the year is handled things would be a lot ****ing smarter than buying office chairs and other **** to tap out our accounts. we spent 93k in my group in the course of a day when money dropped, which was significantly more than what was spent by our sister groups. It was all stuff we needed or would make life easier instead of worthless **** though.

Yeah. There are tons of places to cut spending. Civilians is one. We have about 3-4 civilans in my shop that hold positions that military folks usually hold.. someone created their positions about 30 years ago and no one has questioned why they are here.. It is ridiculous. I am sure that is the case in a lot of places.
We maintain a ton of bases. A RIDICULOUS amount of over seas bases. That gets expensive.
The simultaneous wars isn't exactly helping with the budget issue either..
Honestly, the fact that the defense budget is the highest in the world and doubles our next closest competitor is an issue. Because we have fallen to well below 20th place world wide for things like, healthcare, education, science, mortality rate etc... Which I guess are not priorities.
Oh well. No matter what happens I have a job tomorrow if I want it (and even if I dont).

We don't have enough money to ship out parts to get repaired
Most the time we can't afford new gear
Or to fix our hanger that's falling apart

$600 if you have some time to wait for the right buyer. $450-500 if you want to unload it today. Depends on where you are trying to sell it though.

i have a buyer for 400 selling it this weekend. I need the cash but I originally listed the body and lens for 400 together... then i found out that was a mistake and sold the lens separate
Now for the body... I think I can swing 160 maybe 200 if I am lucky. thoughts?
