Anyone have experience dealing with ALOs (Air Liason officers/ 13Ls)? I know there is SOME information out there, but nothing too current/concrete. Shoot me a PM, or just fill in here. Mainly would like to know, hell, everything about them.

I imagine your best bet would be Nep8 or that TACP guy who is friends with CptObvious...hopefully someone will help me out, i can't remember the dudes account name.

Stark's the guy you're thinking of...
From what I remember it isn't nearly as awesome as what I hoped it was. You're kinda like a TACP officer and are of course expected to do everything that your guys can do but your chances of getting to spend time in the field and call in stuff is pretty limited and chances are you'd spend your time chilling in a TOC when you deploy.

Thanks for the info. I've heard both sides that you're in the TOC a bunch, but on the flip side some guys claim that they are in the field pretty often as well. Still helpful info.

So fellow handler (and roommate) was screaming racial slurs and harassing people at the Christmas party. Its always a party when rednecks get drunk. I facepalmed because I cant pick a ****ing decent roommate to save my life.

Hey Corey. Do you know if the air force as a whole is switching the BAC limit on base to. 05 or is that just Scott?
Just wondering. That number is low enough to scare me into never drinking if I had to go back to base.

I also may need to cease and desist with taco salad tuesday. It's tasty but the scoop of refried beans and boatload of sliced jalapenos does not make for a fun afternoon.
also made my first declaration as deputy flight commander but more like flight commander. My actual flight commander isn't gonna do anything unless necessary and have me run the whole show.

until one of our other LTs OPR closes out she's running a flight and is the commander of my flight. But even when the other LT gets to be a deputy her plan is to still let us run the show and act as top cover. I don't mind it and as a Major she already knows how to run a flight.
