i was going to wait for the winter sale at first, but the game with all the 'premier club' goodies plus the season pass for $55 total was too good to pass up on.

My best friend called in sick to work for a few days and I told all my clients I was away on personal business.
We will be nerding out.

I waited until the first one had the full edition on sale for 75% to buy it.

Exactly what me and my roommates did. The one even got the loot chest edition. We bought a case of bawls and stocked up on food for the week so we have no reason to leave for at least 3 or 4 days.
Looking for a 4th to pick up on XBL. Preferably someone thats going to play the Gunserker so we can have an evenly balanced team.

greenman gaming. they are running a 20% off preorder sale and there are reusable coupons floating around out there that give an additional 20% off. BL2 only cost me $36, the DLC season pass was something like $20. i just had to do it as separate purchases

I thought the important things were story and gameplay.
Possibly explains why such ****ty stories with bad controls and a predictable or cheesy story can make such loads of cash.
While Borderlands wasn't a story to write home about, it certainly wasn't by any account "bad." The gameplay was innovative for a FPS without being completely alien.
While it isn't the best game on the market, it certainly isn't the worst and if the only thing you can find that is wrong with it is the graphics shows either a poor choice in your priorities or an overall good game in which you had to scrub the bottom of the barrel for something negative to say about it.
And of course negative things must be said about any popular game in order to keep up your hipster PC cred.

Soooooo much fun. Even more fun if you are a gear junkie in games.

I bought the first game, played it a bit (xb360) and then like 4 other games came out so I loaned it to a friend and honestly forgot about it. He randomly found it about 18 months later and gave it back...lol.
Bought BL2 for 38 bucks from GMG, and then used a gift card I had left from Amazon + a 10.00 off coupon I had from a prior game purchase, and got the DLC Season Pass for 20 bucks.
Not bad.
