Who's happy with their Planet Eclipse Etek3?
Hey guys, my friends and I use to play paintball about 3-4 years ago and got out of it till now...we are all getting back into it and I want to start new with a great gun. Im choosing between a couple of guns and just want your opinion on the Planet Eclipse Etek3.
Also feel free to post pictures and description on what equipment you use or modifications that have been done to it.

As a guide I have a Luxe I was shooting for airball previously and just thought I'd get something camoish for scenarios and the Etek3 was on special so I grabbed a forest digi scheme. I was so blown away by it's performance out of the box. Shot 297's +/-2 just by adding air and paint. I found myself starting to use it more and more and my Luxe was getting negelcted. Ended up buying an Ego11 I enjoyed shooting the Etek so much and now my Luxe only sees occasional action. I've been shooting the Luxe again for a while but with more and more scenario days coming up the Etek is going to get a lot more miles on it soon.
Get one, You wont be dissapointed.

The Etek 3 is great. And right now with the Etek 4 out, the price is great. You can get it and put in a Zick 2 and a better trigger and have plenty dinero left over for paint. Quality product.

I got one recently off of pbnation and only paid $275. For that price it's a steal, really. The prices have come down allot since the 4 came out, and it's incredibly worth it. I haven't gotten around to upgrading anything yet, and it's a dream to shoot. smooth, accurate and clean. All of my friends are jealous, haha, it blows the DP g4 and mini away and really isn't going to run you much more (used...but people on here take great care of their markers)

I'm a PE fan boy who owns an Etek3, Geo and Ego11.
I dont really use my etek anymore, but when I did it was amazing, it was alittle loud, but I was able to tinker with some of the setting and I was able to quiet it down. I did sacrifice a pods worth of efficiency, but i thought it was worth it. Thru that I got 6 pods on a 3k psi fill on a 50/45. Etek 3 is a great gun and now that they went down in price, pick one up. *zick 2 kit is not really needed

I love my Etek 3 to death. Once you break it in and tune the dwell and lpr, you can get a really smooth shooting marker!

I just got the etek 4 and I love it. It shoots really well, looks awesome, easy to maintain, PE has really good customer service, and from what ive heard very reliable. I think the only down side is how loud it is... But for me, I dont mind it and have been told that its actually pretty intimidating.

I have an etek 3, with a pooty cure 4 bolt, zick 2, and violent scythe trigger. I get compliments whenever I use it or let someone else shoot it. The stock trigger is not great, but the violent series are incredibly smooth and not that expensive to add on. The other upgrades are kind of meh, that's the only one I'd strongly suggest. It's fantastic. shoots very straight, very consistent, pretty much never breaks paint or breaks.
I was at the field a couple of weekends ago talking to two guys, one with an Axe, the other with a G4. In the course of the day, the guy with the g4 had bolt stick issues twice and the axe sprung a leak. It's just an anecdote, but they'd both had issues before. I love my etek.
