Our first tournament is coming up and its mostly D4 teams :/ we have 2 D3 players on our team and we have all been training our ***** off for this tourney but im still a bit nervous. im playing at Fall Classic at the meadowlands. i play front (snake and dorito side) any tips for a front player in his first tournament?

yea i was def. nervous my first tourny but as soon as that first point started it was just like any other day of ballin

I'll tell you what I told our team's first timers last time out, "No fear."

That's pretty much the biggest thing. Don't be afraid. Relax, stay within yourself, and play the game the way you know how to play. Sounds like you've got a solid team around you, if you're a front guy, go kill people, let the guys behind you worry about cleaning up the aftermath.

Pretty much, if you've been practicing hard, play the way practiced. There should be no reason to try and do anything more than that. I think that's where a lot of guys lose it in their first (or first few) tournaments. They suddenly get so afraid to get shot that they don't do anything (and get shot anyway), or they start thinking that they have to kill everybody every game, which usually leads to them getting killed doing something silly.

Think of it as an organized practice. Do your job, talk it up, and play at your own pace.

U said u are a front player - biggest advice, really, is to stay alive. I mean that's obvious right? But if it's your first event you will be nervous and want to pull off some crazy fast moves.

Be patient. Stay alive. You are more effective being alive and having the other team shooting at you instead of being in the dead box.

Just play your game. You'll get those first game of the day butterflies, but after that you'll be good. I get the same way, not so much nervousness, but over excited lol.
