Take a pic when the ring is complete. Wanna see dat ish.
My roommate is that way. He has been dating his gf for 5 years and they have said not until he has his masters. So next year.
I can respect that, my buddy is the same way him and his GF are both seniors and don't play on getting engaged until they are both done. Also I love what my parents did too. They were both knew each other since like 5-6 years old.. no joke lol they did there thing got their jobs. Bought my house back home got settled in then married and then had me and my sister.

I see absolutely no point in getting married, I have nothing to gain from it. I really can't see why anyone would ever want to get married. Also, I would never consider marrying someone unless I was with them for 2-3 years. The last 3 years of my life I've lived in Alaska, Florida, Washington, and Korea. Settling down sounds dumb.

He has a good point for his point in life. He can work the piss out of his career, make higher ranks and more $, put in the time doing TDY's and out of country stuff and later on settle down and start a family if he wanted.
Much better than most of his idiot contemporaries who join up, get their fat stupid wife pregnant with 5 kids before making it past airman and then struggle with making piss poor $, and having to move around a lot while trying to juggle all that = instant fail.
And I like to fish, I'm not gonna have some ***** tell me when I can and can't fish. I did the whole relationship thing once, I'd rather get drunk and wkae up in random girls beds. It's more exciting that way.

I don't agree that there is a right age to get married. It just depends at what age you meet the right person. Mike got married in his 20's and is happy. I'm getting married at 36. I do think that there's a bit less risk when you get older because at that point you know exactly what you do or do not want. It's a bit tougher when you're younger but if it's the right person, it'll work out.
