Directional tires on a VR4

So my vr4 doesn't get driven much the gas mileage is meh and it's not that quick . But I decided to get some new directional tires for it . I am having my buddy install them ( he does bodywork but says he knows how to use the tire machine in the service section of his shop ). I wasn't sure if they should all face the same directions or if the back ones should face backwards due to the directional steering . My friend says it doesn't matter but he has only mounted and balanced 10 sets of tires in his life ( he does paint and body work )

Put them all the right way.

The rear steering on those cars barely does anything. I'm surprised you didn't delete it yet.

Why would you mount the rears backwards because of rear steering?

Rear steering is a joke anyways.

What ? Wouldn't you go better in reverse because you have more grip from the back wheels which pull ?

Idk if stopping would change .

I guess we will mount them all the same way , idk why one would delete the 4 wheel steering it only works over 35 mph and makes the car kind of drift/hover when changing lanes . Like the *** end doesn't slide out but then again it's no viper so the rear shouldn't slide much anyway

Put all four on backwards and go street racing in reverse.

Why in the hell would you want the rear end of a car to drift/hover when changing lanes above 35mph?

You always spin directionals the right way. The only time I would consider breaking this rule is in low speed off road stuff, where you might want more traction in reverse than forward, allowing you to back out of getting stuck.

A ton of people delete the AWS to save weight because it's been pretty well agreed upon that it doesn't do anything, really.

30lbs is nothing in a 3500lb car. i would say it handles better at 60-90 mph with the 4 wheel steering then with 30 less pounds

Literally every track car I know in the 3/S community has done the AWS delete.

And that's a lot of them. The rear tires only move a few degrees and it's actually in the same direction that the front wheels move.

It makes lane changes "better" in some people's opinions, but on the track or any aggressive cornering, you don't want it.
