here is the picture which he said don't put a value on it. You cantt insure a gun if you don't put a value on it when shipping international.

Delete his personal information from that picture.
I've shipped international many times and have never been asked if "my paintball marker has a battery in it?", heck, I doubt many USPS employees even know what a paintball marker is. And you can put confirmation on it even if it's not "of value", and that $0.75 slip would be helping you out a lot right now, if you did indeed ship it.

Also, perhaps we shall reference this thread ....

http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.p...417&highlight=

Where "XJN" confirms that he was not the person to originally open the package, and his "brother in laws brother" was.

Perhaps that's how it came to be in the "not lnib" condition?
This just all seems really really weird...

I removed the picture because it had his personal info clearly displayed.

Now for the markers, you don't even have any proof of ever sending them. I'm not talking about insurance. I'm talking about a tracking number, a receipt, any solid proof from USPS that you sent the markers back. You are responsible for the full value of those markers if they are not returned. You assumed and accepted that responsibility.

any international shipment will have paper work to fill out, on that customs form you fill out is a reference number. That reference number is actually a tracking number until it leaves the states. If you shipped these guns out then you had to fill out that customs form therefore you should have proof of shipment.

I am actually willing to pay insurance on my deals depending on the Item I am shipping. There is no way in hell I would be shipping a $1000+ marker without insurance, it's only the smart thing to do, no matter the expense on my part.

Like Ive said, they have been thrown out. I don't keep anything for over two weeks if a trade is completed. I know Ive shipped out these items I don't want to be held responsible for something I didn't do.

Over 30+ of my feedback trades are dealt with are $800+ markers and all of them were not insured and went real smooth.

I understand where you are coming from but unfortunately the burden of these markers lands on you if they dont make it back to the owner.
I personally take a picture of the shipping receipts and store them on a flash drive, that way I have all the proof but dont have hundreds of receipts laying around my house

But the trade hasn't been completed, since the person still does not have their items.

And just because you have had 30+ successful trades does not mean that you should not take the extra precautions that are advised.

if you are asking someone to delete personal info, you should not quote the same info. He has removed it, its still in your post!

Just making sure that you got it. I hope that you understand that sometimes, CYA isn't just a pain to deal with, but something very worthwhile. Hopefully this situation gets worked out, and you never find yourself having to deal with kind of a problem again.

Have you put forth any effort into finding the markers? Contacting the post office, customs... anything?

I did actually, I called and reported a case and they said they'll get back to me within this week. The case was open on tuesday.
