So I asked in the last version of this thread about if there was an app that can be downloaded onto an iPad so that you can use the camera connection kit, and put regular movies onto a SD card, and be able to watch them. Well, the same company that was linked to by 96 Ls Integ makes two other things that will work, and not have to rely upon wireless connection (Which can be a problem on a plane).
One of them is the iFlashDrive, a solid state hard drive that has the Apple 30 pin connector on one side, and a USB connector on the other. It can be used with PC or Mac, and comes in 8, 16, or 32 GB sizes. Pretty cool and handy, in a not overly large package.
The other is the Hyperdrive Hard Drive. A 2.5" SATA drive in a housing that plugs into the camera connection kit, USB adapter, and can give you 320/500/750 GB, or 1 TB, or you can pick up a housing that will allow you to put your own hard dive in it. I am not sure if you can plug this into a PC or Mac to place files on it, but it gives you considerably more hard drive space. With some of the action cameras out there, this gives you plenty of storage for uploading video files, and still have a compact package.
Understand, I am not trying to spam here, just got these as additional options for what I wanted to do, and I think that they will work.
