the 4 should be able to run GPS..the original Droid did it flawlessly (which had identical specs to the 3GS) hopefully apple is just polishing it up to run on the 4? that's ****ty for 4 users.

People are always so quick to jump to these conclusions. Let me guess you think they switched their 10 year old connector to cash in also.

Flip phones have turn by turn GPS.
The connector is the same way it just has a better excuse for being changed (supposedly faster)
Its the same way android companies say their 1year old device cant run ICS when some dude made it work flawlessly on his lunch break at work

The turn by turn is processed through siri. Siri isn't available on the 4.
It's really not some big conspiracy to make more money like you make it out to be. The companies will not sacrifice performance just because it can be done. That goes for all companies. Then you have users complaining that the phone is buggy and slow.

I'm not bothered by the connecter very much it's jevolved. The the connector is almost 10yrs there's a app for GPS if you have tomtom you don't need apple turn by turn I betting most of you guys use Installous anyway

You know very well it's capable of running it. I did via jailbreak. I've been an iPhone user for years. I own a Mac, iPad, and iPhone. I've been in here for a long time. I'm not trashing, but it is a way to force people to upgrade. Same with Siri. |

Even if I've been tracking my orders for about 3 days, I only got my emails this morning that our iPhone 5's were shipped today.

I really didn't care for siri, and there are other turn by turn GPS app options that work on the iPhone 4... so I wouldn't base my reason to upgrade on this these features. I upgraded because I was up for an upgrade, and it's something newer than the iPhone 4.  |
