Sorry I was in an extremely bad mood earlier; I found out some horrid news But there is a market for Elo boosting in general, and especially 3s at the end of the season. We could do gold 3s carries for like $60 and split it between 3 people.

If you guys don't want to do elo boosts, who would like gold in 3s? I have my smurf.

Sorry to hear about the news. I would give it a go at the elo boosting but I don't think it's worth the risk involved. Especially considering I share my computer with my brother and I wouldn't want Riot to mistake his account for one of mine and ban it permanently as well.

Anyways I said ~2400 meaning 2351-2449. Regardless of you taking what I meant literally my point is still that these are top tier players at this elo and they are seen on many popular streams. The reason that I used this elo range and the pros as examples is because they are the ones in the spotlight whether it be tournaments or popular high elo streams.

I ****ing love the 900 elo players who ***** in the patch notes threads. Every patch is the same "You nerfed X and buffed Y but you still haven't nerfed Darius?!?! You are ruining the game!!! The people who make these decisions should be fired!!!"x50

Since LoL is copying SC2's league system, why don't they also copy the distribution of players? A friend said he got diamond again in SC2 and that doesn't seem very impressive considering that's not even as good as gold in LoL.

Interesting statistics. I don't think it would throw off any of the points you made but do you think that the data is up to date? It is surprising that only ~300,000 players play ranked/are above 1200 out of a 32 million strong player base.
Edit: ah, now I see the part about bronze having 160,000 players. I still don't understand how a game as competitive in nature as League only attracts less than 400,000 players of its 32 million player base to ranked games.
Second Edit: I'm dumb, this is NA only. Still I'm willing to bet with all the servers together it will be around 1 million playing ranked, 2 million tops. Still a surprisingly low number.

not up to date, but I'm sure today's data is similar. I can't speak for the number of players, but every elo distribution I've seen has shown similar percentages to this.

Didnt a while back, riot post something about their champ balencing being focused on higher/competitive elos (I want to say plat+ but I'm not sure) since those are the people who can use everyone properly persay? Maybe it was just on reddit, but either way... Nobody cares what lower elos think since they don't know how to handle low skill cap champs like Darius.
I am sick and tired of all the "better nerf Irelia" jokes though, they were never funny.

lolol bronze 1! I just stopped playing ranked games until I could stop making stupid mistakes myself and be able to be a bigger force on the team. Because from what I understood about the old rankings until you hit about 1200 you got people below 1200 and sometimes you'd get the really derpy ones. We'll see with this new system though.
