there is a different between being a high elo/pro player, and being good at analyzing scenarios and punching numbers. He also has much more precise numbers then the ones you can see from lolking so I think its a safe opinion he has some say.

Sure he's high but I was referring to that select group of players in the top 1% of the ladder that you always see on streams or spectate games. Right now the 1% NA (it might be less than that) is ~2400 last season it was ~2600. I should have been more clear.

assuming blizzard gives a **** about their WoW accounts. they dont monitor it unless its gold being transferred. I've played from day 1-most of cata; i would know. Riot actually tracks this stuff.
