The original Air Superiority mode in BF1943 was an ocean with a bunch of islands in the middle. Each team had an AA on the back of the 2 carriers they had. They didn't help much unless the team was trying to baserape. If you hopped out of a jet and weren't on a carrier, then it was the equivalent of out of bounds and you died in 10 seconds. I honestly can't wait for it, been flying jets nonstop when I play lately anyways.

haha ya well im a huge huge ww2 fanboy so ill always look forward to ww2 games returning to the gaming scene. i cant bring myself to play a futuristic warfare game though. theyre always terrible imo.

I have been playin a bit of metro and got all the way out to A from C and my squad wouldnt spawn on me. They were busy laying down in the hallways with machine guns.

Yep. Nothing easier than laying down aiming at the stairs and holding down the trigger. I get to bored, I would rather go -20 on my k/d as long as I am trying to blast through them to cap a area.
